These are the tremendous sweater socks of one Nay Charles, a magnificent goddess from Queens/Trinidad and Tobago

I was fresh off the boat, a mushy brained adolescent

And she picked me

And she loved me and has loved me for so long

She recently congratulated me for eating Cheetos after a CrossFit class

After 18 years she still has me in her heart

She still has time to remind me that I'm worthy of love when I'm failing and covered in unholy orange dust
